A dream two years in the making, my tattoo studio is complete! The space, which adjoins a large art workshop, was built from the ground up on my property in downtown Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, BC.

My mission is to change the standards of service and care in the tattoo industry; giving you not only a beautiful tattoo, but a beautiful experience to go with it.
From a variety of accessible booking options (email, Zoom, or in person), to a dedicated booking assistant, and video aftercare, plus follow up check ins, I strive to make your experience simple and stress free from beginning to end.
Accessibility
Everyone can be tattooed - but not everyone can easily
access tattoo spaces. My goal is to change that:
- In addition to street parking and a stroll through the garden, my studio has a separate accessible entrance that allows clients to park directly beside the building on the paver stone patio.
- The bathroom doorway is 36", the main entrance is even wider.
- The bathroom is almost 6'x8', with a wall mounted sink, full length mirror, multiple modern grab bar options, and no floor clutter.
- The tattoo table has a 700lb working weight, and the step stool has a 500lb weight capacity.
- The guest chair is armless and has a 500lb weight capacity.
- Scent free and reduced sound options are available.
- Fidget and comfort items are available.

Caring for the planet
Tattoo setup:
Safe and clean tattooing necessitates a lot of waste. A fully disposable setup means that all of the gloves, surface barriers, and needle cartridges are single use, and thrown away at the end of each appointment. But we don't need to clutter the landfill for the next 100 years to keep you safe! Almost all of my single use products are compostable or biodegradable, and more products are becoming available every year as companies innovate to meet the demand for more sustainable options.
Composting and recycling:
In addition to my tattoo setup, I try to incorporate better practices into the studio as a whole. The studio's bathroom uses washable personal hand towels for each client, and paper towels from my handwashing sink are composted. I also recycle everything that I can. This year I'm switching to sustainable and soft bamboo toilet paper as well.
Vegan options:
My tattoo services are vegan by default. Each tattoo ink I use is vegan and free from animal testing. I additionally don't use any petroleum products.
And yes, I always stock vegan ice cream or sorbet from Burnt Honey too. (Everyone deserves a post tattoo treat!)
